Hey there! — I’m Nur, Trauma Recovery Therapist specialized in Heartbreak, Abandonment, and Rejection. Here's my story:

A few years ago, I was right where you might be now — tossing and turning at night, re-reading self-help books, and hunting every “quick fix” under the sun to soothe the ache in my chest. I’d endured a deeply painful loss and discovered that no number of motivational quotes could replace genuine safety and belonging. 

 

What struck me most back then was how few trauma-informed resources truly acknowledged the depth of struggles like grief, depression, and anxiety. All I kept hearing were platitudes — “Just think positive,” or “Time heals all wounds” — which felt like slaps on an open sore rather than invitations to real healing.

My search for real answers began with turning inward. As I walked this path, I met others doing the same courageous work; together we experienced the power of a community that offers informed understanding instead of judgment and holds space for hard emotions rather than rushing to “fix” them. 

 

Witnessing how lives transform when pain is welcomed — not judged — compelled me to pursue formal study through a Master of Counselling (Advanced) at Swinburne University.  Since then, I have been immersing myself in integrative, compassionate approaches that meet my clients where they are — body, mind, and heart.

It offers a clinically streamlined, bottom‑up pathway to PTSD symptom relief—often achieving faster emotional recalibration than traditional cognitive behavioral methods.

 

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – fosters compassionate curiosity toward your inner parts, helping you heal from the inside out

 

  • Transactional Analysis & Redecision Therapy – reveals the childhood “scripts” shaping your life and empowers you to rewrite them into healthier patterns today
