This Place I’ve Never Been by Non-Aligned Poets Collective

This Place I’ve Never Been returns for its second edition,  and its first-ever show, in Singapore. Presented by the Non-Aligned Poets Collective (NPC) in collaboration with Untangled Minds, this special evening of poetry and reflection is dedicated to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.

The event takes its name from Rudrakshi’s poetry collection, This Place I’ve Never Been. She was a remarkably gifted teenage poet from Bengaluru, India, whose life ended tragically at the age of sixteen.

Following its 2025 debut in Bangalore, which raised over ₹12,000 in support of the Pukar Foundation, the 2026 Singapore edition will once again serve as a charity event. All proceeds will go toward Untangled Minds, a Singapore-based mental health organization founded by therapists Nur Adam and Ron Yap, whose mission is to bring therapy-informed healing beyond the traditional counseling room.

What to Expect:

The 2026 edition will feature an inspiring lineup of poets from both Bangalore and Singapore, coming together in solidarity and healing through spoken word. Expect an evening of moving performances, quiet reflection, and heartfelt connection, as we hold space for grief, hope, and the shared human experience. Hosting the event is NPC founder Henry al-Muthanna. Joining him in poetry from Bangalore: Ms. Robina Farooq and Krishna. Representing Singapore we have Herzy, Afiqa, Martiza, Zeha and Champa. 

Attendees may choose one of two ticket options: The $10 option includes just the ticket to the event, while the $40 option includes both the ticket and a physical copy of Untangled Mind's The Inner Child Healing Journal, an accessible and engaging journal that allows you to reconnect to your younger self and release them from their past wounds that will be presented to you on the day itself.
